Laser Eye Surgery Intraocular Pressure (IOP)

The measurement of the pressure of the fluid in the eye by means of a tonometer. Especially important in the monitoring of glaucoma due to the fact that the patient is often unaware of the condition being present until permanent damage has taken place.
