Histoplasmosis
Caused by the airborne fungus (Histoplasma Capsulatum) of bird or bat droppings. The disease occurs when the fungus is inhaled into the lungs.
Symptoms are similar to the common cold but can lead to the loss of vision.Should be investigated and those that live in a high risk area,even if they show no symptoms,should have regular eye examinations.
